How much does FinCanvas cost?

FinCanvas Pro starts at £20 per month for one seat, plus £5 per month for each additional seat. A 7-day free trial is included with every Pro subscription — card required to start so the conversion to paid is one click, but no charge if you cancel before day seven. There’s also a permanent Free tier (one project, three cost sections, no invoicing) for solo operators or anyone who wants to look around without committing.

Billing is monthly via Stripe. No long-term contracts, no implementation fees, no per-quote charges. You can downgrade from Pro to Free at any point — your data stays put; you just lose access to Pro-only features until you upgrade again.

Pricing FAQ

The questions every operator asks before committing.

Is the trial really free?

Yes. Seven days, full Pro access, no charge. We do ask for a card before the trial starts — that’s how the conversion to paid stays one click — but if you cancel before day seven, we don’t charge you.

Why do I need a card to start the trial?

It removes the friction at conversion. Trials with no card upfront convert poorly because the user has to re-engage at the end — by that point they’ve forgotten what they liked. Card upfront means if the trial works, you don’t do anything; if it doesn’t, you click cancel.

What happens after the 7-day trial?

On day eight you’re billed £20 plus £5 per additional seat. We email you on day five and day seven so the conversion isn’t a surprise. If you cancel during the trial, the card is never charged.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. From inside the app: Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro access until then. No retention emails, no exit surveys.

What payment methods do you accept?

Card payments via Stripe — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, most international cards. We don’t accept bank transfer or invoice billing for the standard Pro tier; if you’re a larger team that needs annual invoicing, get in touch.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. Month-to-month, cancel any time. We don’t discount in exchange for a year commitment because we think the product should earn the next month every month.

Do you offer discounts for charities or non-profits?

Yes — registered UK charities get 50% off Pro. Email support@fincanvas.co.uk with a copy of your charity registration and we’ll set it up.

Can I downgrade from Pro to Free?

Yes. Your data stays where it is — projects, quotes, invoices, the lot. You lose access to Pro-only features (variants, blueprints, invoice generation, custom fields, reports) until you upgrade again. The downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Try it free for 7 days.

If it works for you, the conversion is one click. If not, cancel and the card is never charged.
